How much do the judges on America's Got Talent earn, and who has the highest salary?

The winner of America’s Got Talent stands to have their life completely transformed by the show’s massive $1 million prize. While that’s a huge sum, it seems almost modest when you consider how much the America’s Got Talent judges earn per episode, per season, and what their net worths are.

Thanks to the Olympics, America’s Got Talent went on a month-long break this year. The NBC series will resume on August 13, with the Quarterfinals getting underway. Fans can look forward to seeing all their favorite contestants from this season, including Richard Goodall, Sebastian and Sonia, Roni Sagi & Rhythm, and many others, back in action.

America’s Got Talent judges’ estimated earnings

It’s well-known that being featured on a world-famous talent show can bring in substantial earnings. The judges of America’s Got Talent Season 19 were already well-established stars before joining the NBC show, so they've amassed significant wealth over their careers. The panel includes actress Sofia Vergara, model Heidi Klum, music mogul Simon Cowell, and comedian, actor, and producer Howie Mandel.

When it comes to the judges' salaries, Simon Cowell reportedly earns a staggering $45 million per season, according to Soaps. That breaks down to nearly $2 million per episode.

Heidi Klum, on the other hand, earns more than some of her fellow judges, with an annual salary of $19 million for her role on AGT, as reported by Sports Keeda. This equates to about $830,000 per episode.

In 2020, Sofia Vergara was making approximately $10 million per season on AGT, according to Forbes. With each season typically consisting of around 23 episodes, this translates to an estimated $450,000 per episode.

Among the judges, Howie Mandel reportedly has the lowest earnings per episode. Celebrity Net Worth notes that Howie earns $70,000 per episode, totaling around $1.7 million for a 24-episode season.
